Everyday we are being told to save energy and cut down on the amount of water we use. To combat this we have a range of water butts that allow you to collect rainwater then re-use it on your garden. With slimline designs that allow you store water in tight spaces, our water butts are available in many different capacities from 85 Litres to 2800 Litres

Water Butt FAQs

What are the water butts made from?
All our water butts are made from a very strong plastic called MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene).

How do I get the water out?
With all the water butts comes a BSP outlet. This can be from a frac34;" to a 2" depending on water butt volume. To this you can connect a standard brass tap or a hose connector.

Do I need to empty the water butt in the Winter?
No, should the water inside the water butt freeze, the water butt will expand but not split.

Can I access the inside of the water butt?
Yes on all our water butts a vented lid (size will depend on the volume of the water butt) which will give you access to the inside for cleaning etc.

Whats the holes in the middle for?
The holes are called "baffles" and are made with the intention of transporting water as these water tanks are also used as Baffled Water Tanks for the cleaning industry.
